On the first Thursday of November, coffee-lovers from all over, rush to their local Starbucks. With an extensive list of options to choose from, even a frequent Starbucks visitor may have difficulty deciding which drink they’d like to enjoy from the 2023 holiday menu. Multiple beverages from years past have returned once more; while new ones made their debut this time around. 11 drinks and  four cold foams to tryoffering a new favorite to every customer.  But what drinks have made their way to the top of my list this festive season?

In regards to those seeking a subtle cheery inclusion, any holiday cold foam is a great addition to all drinks. As you may expect, the sugar cookie cold foam is the addition of my choice because of its sweet, home-style cookie notes that pair perfectly with the nutty undertones. It’s topped with red and green sprinkles, which overall allows for a beautiful presentation. Not only is it a delicious additive to the sugar cookie latte, but it pairs well with a simple iced coffee with milk as well.

The peppermint chocolate cold foam is a great blend of two seasonal favorites. Starbucks marries its famous chocolate mocha flavoring and holiday mint syrup in a splash of whole milk. I recommend pairing it with a classic cold brew for a very merry beverage. Chestnut praline cold foam is true to its name; a strong chestnut interest along with a slightly sweet hint of vanilla. It compliments its partner latte perfectly. Caramel brulee cold foam is another great choice. It reminds me of sipping on a caramel milkshake. Another topping I will order with an iced shaken espresso time and time again.

With only one more month to celebrate at Starbucks, I will be stopping in multiple times before our winter gems come to an end. Even if you won’t be visiting as often as I am, I won’t hesitate to suggest trying out any of these delectable sips this season.
