Jonathan Whitney is a freshman at San Marcos High School. He joined the newspaper staff because it was his grandfather’s career, but Jonathan is looking for a future as a lawyer. He enjoys learning about the case laws that grant students the privileges they have today, as well as the interview process. Jonathan especially enjoys writing about legislation surrounding firearms in the United states and any noteworthy things happening in or around campus. When he’s not at school, you can usually find Jonathan playing baseball and camping.
