About us

The Pendragon is San Marcos High School’s student newspaper ran by the scholastic journalism program instructed by Josh Clements. Our student newspaper is intended to give a voice to the voiceless and highlight stories that are relevant to our teenage audience. Our newspaper staff is comprised of student journalists pursuing their interests through researching, interviewing and writing a range of stories from Taylor Swift’s new album to international crises. The Pendragon strives to showcase authentic voices and tell the stories no one else is telling.
